The change
Every item in the second list was found by executing something against reality — a script against a refused port, a phone against production, a transaction against the chain, a DNS lookup against a hostname — rather than by reading a document that said it was fine. The ecosystem's rules of 2026 are all the same rule in different clothes:
- Every figure carries its proof or comes off.
- Nothing is announced before it exists.
- Ask what would have to be true for this check to fail.
- Run the chain, not just the tests.
- Wire it or retire it.
- Correct in place, with the error visible.
- Test on the device.
- Nothing is free.
