Naming Things in the Empoorio Ecosystem: DRACMA, DMS, EmpoorioChain and the -OS Suffix

The token

DRACMA, symbol DMS. Native asset of EmpoorioChain, 18 decimals, in pallet-balances. Not a contract.

Wrong forms that appear in older material: EMP as a symbol (an early alternative; the wallet's display was corrected EMP → DMS in September 2026); DracmaS (a former product name that survives in a few file names); or other borrowed symbols from other chains' blog posts. The canonical tokenomics fixes the name and symbol in the runtime's token constants.

The stable unit

DUSD — native stable asset, target peg $1.

The chain

EmpoorioChain. Substrate L1, spec name empoorio-chain, chain id 2026, SS58 prefix 2026. Wrong forms: EmpoorioChain Mainnet (there is none); hostnames under empoorio.io (never registered); scan. / explorer.empooriochain.org (never existed — the explorer is empooscan.com).

The company and the foundation

Empoorio is the operating company behind the apps. The Empoorio Foundation is the governance structure designed to steward the protocol — a design, not yet a registered entity (a mainnet-gate item). This blog's team author Empoorio Foundation describes the stewardship function, not a legal person.

The -OS suffix (from Greek, as in Ouranos, Eidos) marks the consumer products. It does not mean operating system.

Names that are not ours

Anything from the ecosystem this blog's old posts described: their conference, their validator client, their token program library, their people. The September 2026 audit found 382 asset files, 260 posts, 32 author profiles and a website theme belonging to that ecosystem. They are being replaced, this post included.

Why a naming post

Because the ecosystem's own audits found five DID formats, three chain ids, two token symbols and several product names in simultaneous use. One name per thing, in one file, is the same discipline as one figure per fact.

Based on TOKENOMICS_CANONICO.md §1, RED.json, the Eoonia audit (EMP → DMS) and the September 2026 ecosystem audit.
