What it is
packages/ecosystem-data/src/companies/records/ — twelve TypeScript records, one per product, each a typed CompanyRecord: id, slug, name, legal name, a profile (tagline, summary, description, sector, status, type, links, socials), and logos. The official site's product pages are generated from them.
Why it is worth a post
The September 2026 audit of the official site found invented figures almost everywhere it looked — TPS, validators, users, audits, press, revenue. It found none in this package. Twelve records, twelve honest status lines (Pre-release (v0.3.0) — in active development for Aephoron, for instance), no metric without a measurement behind it. It was named the one data source to keep and extend.

What it is missing
Records for the commerce apps (Eats, Manager, Riders, Square Sellers, Warehouse), for EidoOS, PhoonoS, OmilooS, PompoOS, DAOtonomos and EmpooScan — the ecosystem has 13 apps on Google Play and the directory names fewer. A playStoreId field with the real package name and a websiteStatus read from DNS would let the site stop hand-writing links to hosts that do not resolve (the audit found several).
The rule it embodies
A directory entry says what a product is and what state it is in, from a source someone can check — the store, the repository, a live host. It does not say how many users, how fast, or how many partners, unless those come from an instrument. Twelve records already follow the rule; the next twelve will.
