The design
SkoopoS is the ads platform; GnoosiS, PhoonoS and EidoOS are the surfaces. The relationship is the platform-ads model:
- Advertisers pay SkoopoS through its web consoles or API — a B2B service outside app-store billing, the way every ads platform operates.
- Consumer apps display ads and credit DMS to users (and creators) for verified views. They never process advertiser money.
- Proof of view on chain:
SkooposPovsettles a verified view 70 % to the viewer, 30 % to the treasury;SkooposCampaignescrows the advertiser's budget;SkooposSponsorhandles brand–creator offers with level-based fees.
What is built
The backend (relevance-weighted ad rank, frequency caps, creative A/B, real CTR), the Console → Extension → click → settlement circuit (verified in a real browser, 30 July 2026), the Aephoron native ads crate (verified), the ads pallets in runtime 220, and the GnoosiS publisher endpoint (deliberately without per-viewer identity, documented inline).
What the store requires first
DMS is a tokenized digital asset under store policy, whether bought or earned. Before GnoosiS or PhoonoS credit DMS to real users:
- File the financial-features declaration in the store console. (Four sibling apps are currently blocked from updates pending exactly these declarations.)
- Marketing copy that states what happens — earn DMS watching verified ads — and never frames it as income or glamorises potential earnings.
The open question
Whether earning a token by watching an ad inside an app itself touches the store's billing rules is not explicitly addressed in the store's public documentation. It is flagged for confirmation with the store before the integration ships to real users. Until answered, the integration waits.
Status
No consumer app credits DMS for views today. No campaign has settled on the public testnet. skoopos.com is down. The page this replaces gathered streamers for a gaming festival; this one describes the line between rewarding attention and selling a financial product, and the ecosystem's decision to stay on the right side of it before shipping.
Based on the SkoopoS payments-compliance document, SKOOPOS_ADS_ONCHAIN.md and the SkoopoS extension-circuit verification.
