By authoring blocks with Aura and voting on finality with GRANDPA, each validator helps make the network censorship-resistant. Today there are two, both operated by Empoorio, and the network says so.
Emission follows a gap-decay formula: each 24-hour era mints 0.0083446 % of the distance to the 3.5 billion DMS cap. 75 % goes to the staking pool, 25 % to the Ailoos AI pool. Nominal APY is capped at 20 % — a ceiling, not a rate.
Nominators bond DMS (minimum 1,000) behind validators they trust and share in rewards and slashing risk. Validators bond at least 50,000 DMS, register session keys and are elected per era. Unbonding takes 28 days.
No liquid-staking or stake-pool product exists on EmpoorioChain today. The vault pallets that could underpin one are in the runtime and unexercised.

The validator set is read from Session::Validators on chain: two accounts, both in IONOS AS8560, Logroño.
