The Mainnet Gate: Six Gates, None Negotiable

There is no mainnet date. There is a gate. This post is the gate, item by item, with status. The rule at the top of the document is unambiguous: mainnet blocked until every condition is checked. No partial launch. No exceptions. No "we'll fix it after launch".

Gate 1 — Security (blocking)

  • Zero critical vulnerabilities open, verified by a signed external audit — not done
  • Zero high vulnerabilities open, or fixed and verified by the auditor — not done
  • DeFi audit; PQC/ZK audit; mobile audit — scopes frozen in AUDIT_SCOPE.md; none commissioned
  • Audit certificates published — none exist; a page claiming otherwise was removed from the website in September 2026
  • Fuzzing in CI for DEX, lending, bridge, ZK verifier, intents — partial
  • Formal verification of the AMM invariant (x·y ≥ k) with Kani — not done
  • Threat model reviewed and signed after the last audit — model exists; no audit to follow

Gate 2 — Network infrastructure (blocking)

  • ≥ 10 active validators with ≥ 1 M DMS each — 2
  • ≥ 4 independent operators, none above 33 % of stake — 0 external
  • ≥ 2 distinct physical geographies — 1 data centre
  • Testnet stable ≥ 30 days without consensus halt or unplanned fork — current genesis is from 31 August; in progress
  • GRANDPA finality measured p50 < 12 s, p95 < 30 s under real load — May benchmark: p50 17 s; not met
  • Public RPC uptime > 99.5 % over 30 days — not yet measured
  • Testnet bridge deposit + withdraw + timeout end to end — not done

Gate 3 — Verified performance (blocking)

  • Benchmarks published with reproducible methodology — done (PERFORMANCE_REPORT.md)
  • ≥ 500 TPS measured on simple transfers on the real testnet — not demonstrated
  • ≥ 100 TPS on DeFi operations — not demonstrated
  • Block weight utilisation < 85 % at peak — not measured
  • Weights calibrated on production hardware — not done; the reference machine is chosen and unrented

Gate 4 — Software (blocking)

  • Eoonia Wallet released on the stores — done (Google Play, v1.3.0)
  • Eoonia full flow tested: create → receive → send → stake → unstake — largely done (35/43 native, 43/43 EVM operations verified)
  • EmpooScan deployed at empooscan.com with TLS — site live; indexer database pending
  • Rust SDK on crates.io with docs — not done, and not without an explicit decision
  • CLI working against mainnet RPC — no mainnet RPC to test against
  • Migration dry-run testnet → mainnet genesis with rollback — not done
  • Tokenomics published from TOKENOMICS.jsondone
  • Treasury initialised at 150 M DMS — spec correct; genesis not created
  • Genesis hash signed by ≥ 3 founding members — not done
  • Legal entity operating the foundation identified — not done
  • Travel-rule parameters in pallet-sanctionsnot done
  • DMS/USDC pool seeded with ≥ 500 K DMS — not done; liquidity multisig not constituted

Reading the gate

Of roughly thirty items, about four are done. The gate document itself was corrected in September: it referenced a tokenomics file that did not exist and confused the liquidity allocation with the treasury. Those corrections are in the file, dated.

A project that publishes this list is not close to mainnet, and says so. The value of the list is that every item is either checkable or has a named artefact that will make it so — and that nobody can shorten it.

Based on MAINNET_GATE.md (updated 2026-05-30, corrected 2026-09) cross-referenced with DECENTRALIZATION_REPORT.md, PERFORMANCE_REPORT.md and the Eoonia integration matrix.
